About this Meeting
This 2.5-day conference will educate attendees on the treatment of the most challenging complex orthopedic cases including tumor, revision, trauma, pediatrics and infection. World-renowned experts on orthopedic revisions and musculoskeletal oncology will lead treatment and case-based discussions, with ample time for discussion, audience involvement, and questions. The course is not designed to discuss only “good” results, but the most difficult cases we face as complex arthroplasty surgeons, and even our failures to learn from. This course would benefit orthopedic oncology, revision and infection specialists, Fellows and Residents interested in a relevant career path, and Nurses / Allied Health Professionals who assist in treating complex orthopedic patients.
Target Audience
Orthopedic surgeons performing or interested in revision or oncology procedures; residents and fellows interested in this field; PAs and other staff involved in complex arthroplasty cases.
Educational Objectives
Attendees should, at the completion of this course, be able to:
- Evaluate and weigh multiple surgical treatment options for complex reconstructions.
- Develop a greater awareness of the latest technology available for difficult infection cases.
- Cite the latest clinical findings on complex reconstruction outcomes.
- Anticipate common complex reconstruction postoperative complications.
No special educational preparation is required for this CME activity.
